What are good connection point techniques for solid connections

I have a small teardrop with a 8735P converter. I'm almost sure the wire coming out from it is only 10 AWG..but I'll double check. That is why I went with 10 AWG.

One other question. (sorry), I have a victron IP22 charger wired to my busbars (with 6 AWG wire). Should I have fuse protection on the DC output side of the charger on the 6 AWG wire.

Fuses should be as close as poosible to the + source ..correct? If I change all my fuseto midi, I'm just trying to figure out where to put them. It's verytight in my teardop.

TY

Data Sheet Protection "Battery reverse polarity (fuse), Output short circuit, Over temperature"
But I couldn't find a picture of the DC connection end.
My WFCO 60A protection: 2x 40A blade fuses for Battery reverse polarity, Output short circuit. No fuse to fuse box.
