I am really thinking of going 3 phase with mine.So is it time we start an ASP split phase master support and build thread?
Wonder how long until we can get Will to do a review.![]()

We don't need him, do we?So is it time we start an ASP split phase master support and build thread?

@Dave911 it was shipped via Montreal then trucked to my local CBSA holding warehouse in NB. I collected it from there. That was 5 years ago. It’s been abused but still working…..You bought a flail mower from China?
Thats heavy!
Did it show up at a Toronto port?
How did that go?
Well, without him we couldn't have so much fun here. I think we'll be ok without a review though. We don't need him, do we?
Whats "way cheaper" ?Did you do air ship? I did by boat, way cheaper, and I don't need them right away. 20 to 30 days is ok for me.
When I asked about 3 inverters, by air was $670, by ship, $319Whats "way cheaper" ?
New Brunswick - just when I thought you were in my neighbourhood ...holding warehouse in NB.
in Manitoba !! LOL.On FedEx vehicle for deliveryMB, Canada
Slow boat puts you over 90 days the tariff will increase. When I asked about 3 inverters, by air was $670, by ship, $319

Once they ship.....Slow boat is 20 to 30 days....
Yup, we can almost be considered close neighbours...lol... you're not that far away from where I live. A single tank of diesel there and back in my Jetta TDI.New Brunswick - just when I thought you were in my neighbourhood ...

Mine actually shipped last night. I think I paid on Saturday. Not too bad.Once they ship.....
I was just joking, but I noticed mine have not shipped yet. I think you will be fine. I'm at a point where I need to decide how and where these will be mounted. I need to order a trough yet and want to decide how long. Heck for my battery bank I spent about 2 months slowly accumulating components.

I paid Tuesday, expect shipping later today.Mine actually shipped last night. I think I paid on Saturday. Not too bad.
It takes a little longer, I just recieved a pallet of cells and it took 35 days once the pallet shipped. The whole transaction actually took about 60 days from when I paid due to Chinese holiday so it did not ship until the holiday was over.OK, so how does the "slow boat" work? I'm guessing they go into a container that heads to the lower 48, maybe Long Beach.
The container is broken down and then shipped to their final destination be Fedex or UPS? I think it takes about 14 days for a freighter to cross the Pacific.
Looks the same as my LV6548 ports. Those work just fine.Yep, look like monitor cable plugs to me.
Ill be first on your list if you ever want to get rid of the ASF!I need to stop being such a pessimist...
Left work early to help my brother with his upright freezer that took a shit...
Was mixing up some sevin to feed the bugs feasting on the garden and DHL pulled in the driveway.
Boxes had some rips and tears but packaging is just as solid as the ASF.
When I grabbed the box off the truck I thought to myself the ASP box was heavier than the ASF box, it is by a little.
The ASP is a different shade of white than the ASF. The parallel cables sure look like VGA cables to me, wish I had an old monitor somewhere.
FedEx also delivered the 5' 6"x6" trough. I don't have any excuses for not getting started on them this weekend. Hopefully I'll have them up and running by the end of the month, and hit 5MWh on the ASF before that.
Mounting them will be easy, it's all the other stuff that's gonna be a pita, rebuilding the battery rack out of steel and all the fun that goes with that will be the most time consuming part.
Anyway, enough rambling...
