Let me spit ball for a min.A lot of discussion on clamping cells with threaded rod on four corners.
Has anyone figured out how much to tighten each nut with a Torque wrench to achive the required PSI?
Length (inches) x Width (inches) x PSI = Load in poundshi can you calculate this one will be appreciated yes am a carpenter
Charging with benchtop in series
hi all! last night I successfully used my lifepo4 battery pack for 3 hours while busking in the street. I powered a valve amp and several guitar pedals (even scored 10 bucks ! ) i want to charge the batteries up as they were at 60% soc on the app. There isnt much information on charging in...diysolarforum.com
ssst the mods are a sleep let do every thing in mmLength (inches) x Width (inches) x PSI = Load in pounds
Load in pounds / 4 = Load required by each spring.
[Free length of spring - Compressed length of spring ] * spring rate = Load
The theory behind compressing the cells is that it keeps the battery material in contact with the terminal post.Do any of the pre made batteries use springs?
If not, why do you feel you need them
Serious question.
Didn't even model the posts.Thought you might be interested to see how my actual build turned out compared to my 3-D model posted up thread.
