I have a large generator on site that I want as a backup but I have found that only the all in one systems can accept this, are there are any inverters that can do that as well?

By the way does any one know a European distributor for Axpert or MPP ?

Not all AIO inverters will accept any old generator input. Some require an inverter generator as input. You'd want to be sure the AIO you are looking at are suitable for use with your generator.

All the tier 1 component inverters like Magum, Outback, and Schneider accept generator input. With my XW+6848, I have a 4-spade plug plugged into the 240VAC generator socket, which is connected at the other end to a 4-spade male socket that goes to the ACin2 of my Schneider. L1 to L1, L2 to L2, N to N, and G to G.

There are MANY Inverter/Charger combo systems but these are separate from AIO's (All in ones) and would require a separate Solar Charge Conrtoller and of course all teh Balance of System components in between.

Myself I run Component-Based and use a Samlex EVO Inverter with Dual AC Inputs (1 for grid and 1 for Genset) and it has built-in Auto Transfer Switching and are highly programmable... WARNING - Not Cheap ! With you being in Cyprus that can complicate things due to the sanctions and political stoopidity that is far too abundant these days.
Samlex EU: https://www.samlex.com/product-category/inverters/

Note also that they make extremely good Chargers as well, yes you pay a bit more but well worth it !
FYI They are a Tier-1 Quality Taiwanese Company, been at it for a very long time and everything is certified to the hilt.
These are used in commercial applications and in many Emergency Services vehicles (Ambulances, Fire Dept etc) and even Military which have hard specs as you likely know.

For better guidance, you need to let us know Voltage required & Frequency. Output Watts required etc... What battery bank chemistry and which Chemistry as well... More info you can provide the better feedback you will get.

Most Importantly !
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING TILL YOU HAVE A SOLID PLAN IN HAND !
A Failure to Plan, IS a Plan to Fail (typically quite costly too)!

There are NEVER once in a lifetime deals, they happen weekly !

Could you please help me verify the compatibility of the this inverter MPP with and the Pramac GBW 15 I have on site, it seems to me that there is a difference on voltage output 380V and 400V that would make them incompatible but I am not sure of the inverter generator reqs are:

GENERATOR REQUIREMENT
(*below is for 220-240v European single phase type; North American 120v is marked in black)
UPS mode (refer to inverter LCD setting “UPS”)
- Generator waveform THD: < 10%.
- Generator Vrms range: 180 ~ 270Vac (95 ~ 140Vac for North American 120V)
- Generator voltage crest factor(Vpeak/Vrms): < 1.6
- Generator peak voltage: <380V (<208V for North American 120V)
- Frequency range: 45Hz ~ 63Hz
- Frequency slew rate: <0.3Hz/sec

Appliance mode (refer to inverter LCD setting “APL”)
- Generator waveform THD: < 30%.
- If square wave output generator, output duty should greater than 60%
- Generator Vrms range: 100 ~ 270Vac (65 ~ 140Vac for North American 120V)
- Generator voltage crest factor(Vpeak/Vrms): < 1.6
- Generator peak voltage: <380V (<208V for North American 120V)
- Generator frequency range: 45Hz ~ 63Hz
- Generator frequency slew rate: < 0.3Hz/se

And the generator specs:
