I have two EG4 6500 EX48 and was wandering if anyone else has had issues with them just turning off not fault codes or error codes. Mine have been shutting down on a random bases (around once per week) and when they are restarted the settings are changed. Today the Hz was changed from 60 to 50 along with most of the other settings, luckily the auto restart was off or did not change.

A few weeks ago Tech support had me do a firmware update, however the problem returned after about a week.

Not sure what is going on, any suggestions?

Also, there is a setting #92 and there is no documentation on what this is, anyone know?

Could you DM me your email address? I would like to get into this a little further.

Here's a not so funny for you, I have 2 of the new 6000EX's that are doing the same thing, along with flickery lights.
No errors, no alarms, just shutdowns for around 3 seconds at random times.

I feel your pain.

And still waiting on Signature Solar for some tech support, responses seem to be slow coming with very little help in them. They have now stated that they have referred this to a tier 3 tech support. Sounds good but still not seeing solutions or communications with this new support tech.

So the pain continues.

Peyton, the Tier 3 sent you over an email on October 12th requesting information. He just showed me where he sent you a message and has not received a response from you. I think we have a solution ready. If you will respond to the email he sent over we will get this taken care of Today.

That email was received and tried, and a response from a different tech on Oct 14 stated the referral and said the t3 ticket was to be updated. However, I will respond directly to Payton's email.

If he hasn't yet, Peyton should be back in touch. We have an engineer from Voltronic in this week and it's given us a little more clarity on what is going on with this.

I also have 2 6500EX-48 split phase, firmware at U1(79-02), U2(61-06), they also restart about once per week.
I do not know how to read last error code, but a possible pattern is the batteries are full, and the solar brings then up to 55.9 or 56.0 volts.
Are we hitting some battery at high voltage restart?

I am running the same firmware as you and split
Phase without issues. Have you emailed or called SS tech support yet? I usually email them a description of my question along with all my settings.

What are your settings? Here are mine.

I am using EG4-LL batteries, so setting #5 on the 2P1 is set to EG4. That appears to change settings #12 & #13 to SOC percentages. It sounds like my battery firmware version may need be reviewed/updated, next.

Also, there is a setting #92 and there is no documentation on what this is, anyone know?
Here’s the response I got from SS:
The option 92 is referring to a control box that we do not support or sell.
It was added into the manual with this latest update.
