Hi guys.

I've just received my order with the BlueSeaSystem MRBF double post terminal for which I paid 69$ on Amazon. Since this is my first product from BlueSeaSystems, I would really appreciate it if you could verify I've received a genuine product.

I wouldn't even give it too much thought, but when I opened the package I saw that the BlueSeaSystem double post terminal plastic wrap was probably already opened.

Just to see how easily can a fully closed packaging be opened, I pressed the plastic lip to close it and then went to open it. To me, it seems highly unlikely that it can get opened like that by taking it from the shelf and putting it into the package for shipping. The plastic packaging is very well made.

After having a closer look, I noticed it doesn't say BUSS as in many pictures of the BlueSeaSystems terminal post. Instead, it says EATON.

This is the first BlueSeaSystem product I've purchased so I wanted to check if this is a genuine product.

Thanks.

BlueSea uses a LOT of BUSSman Fuses, Breakers & more. BUSSman is now owned by Eaton. That is a genuine product.
Don't worry so much about the packaging, I have bought Bulk Volumes direct from BlueSea and every component is packaged but when all tossed into a box and shipped (couriers love to kick around light packages) some of the packaged inside popped open. The other packaging they use, allows the back cardboard to slip out of the sleeve... they stopped stapling them, dunno why.

That's so great to hear! Thank you!

You can buy the eaton branded version of those MRBF terminal fuse blocks for a fraction of the blue sea price. It's the same thing, just doesn't include the rubber hood (but you can buy it separate). At least for the singles, not sure about the doubles. https://www.waytekwire.com/item/455...QfU2L33OKoN9ngJsaxgexwm0d1YdlXnwaAnGrEALw_wcB
Thanks for the info, truly appreciated.

Yeah, I realized the difference in price before posting but was more concerned about getting an inferior product than specified and paid for.

For the lack of a better option on a double post terminal block around here, and the fact it appears it's not the seller at fault here, I'll let it slide.

Certainly, I won't be spending any more money on BlueSeaSystems 'labeled' products going forward.

Best,
D.

What shipping method do you choose from WayTek? They want $22 to ship me 2 fuses. They have several shipping options but looks like they dont tell you the price until after it ships?
