I currently am running 4x 100w panels in series which roughly runs at about 80ish volts

into this mppt charge controller

The odd thing I have noticed though is, when i check in on my system in the morning, it is only inputting at like under 14-18v and about 20ish watts of input.

If i unplug and replug in my panels back into the mppt, it jumps back up to the full 80v and 150-300 watts depending on the sun conditions.

I can't seem to figure out why this occurs and could use some help.

Sure, it only takes like 1 second to unplug and replug and it works for the rest of the day until the night time, but i'd prefer not needing to do this manually everyday.

This is a known problem with the PowMr's and some Growatts. I don't know if there has ever been a fix but it might be worth digging through the AIO sub section and see what you can find.

And makeskyblue along with many others. It is due to shading conditions that introduce a second peak on the curve due to it only doing a localized search. No, it won't find itself unless it sees full sun. I built a little circuit that detects the low voltage after 15 seconds and turns off for the same time, then reconnects. Some people have connected morning timers.

A similar issue occurs with some Epever controllers, I guess they all use same ( stolen?) , ( copied?) , (crap?), softwere.
