Midnite Solar Announced their new 10kw AIO at Intersolar Today

Those specs look impressive and given that it's a Midnight design I have no doubt that the surge capacity will be just as good as they say.

I don't have the full spec sheet, but Midnite has a very impressive unit on the way. I spent about an hour at Intersolar talking to the brains behind the operation and was very impressed.
Was it Robin Gudgel or Bob Godgel? i certainly hope they are still in the game. Legends in this business, and from everything I've seen they are some of the straightest shooters that ever played the game!

Bob was posting about this the other day:

Robin and also Logan was there, plus many more but these two were the main ones I spoke to

The breakers inside are all Midnite breakers. They are made in China but based on what I’m seeing and understanding, this is not just a Midnite sticker over top of the OEM label
I didn’t see battery nor MPPT breakers.

Until EVERYTHING is listed up on Midnite.com I would NOT speculate too much !
Even once released DO NOT TOUCH for a Minimum of 6 months as there will be bugs, quirks & foibles to sort out regardless. Unless you want to be a Alpha/Beta Tester for them. Look at the "ROSIE" and other new offerings, the single part is not too bad $ but them you add the extras and all of a sudden it's $,$$$ Heavy in a hurry.

There are some Midnite Solar REPS here as members.. someone ought to Poke them in the ribs to respond - interact on this thread...

What do you mean by the extras? You mean the epanels? The mgp2 if you don't get the Barcelona?

Their 3k/5k were made my SRNE but I recall reading from the midnite folk that they weren’t overjoyed at times.
Having 3MPPT inputs separates its from being one of the current SRNE or MPP flavors (unless they got that change facilitated)
I imagine their voodoo magic could make either of those operate in their desired voltage range. I figured they implemented some variant of their e-panel below.
Couldn’t find a matching case/screen on Ali, no chatter about it on their forum, nothing on their website (I’m not complaining, I realize this is a “sneak peak” just saying, I’ve been trying to decipher lmao)
Hey we finally learned not to talk about our new products years in advance LOL. This has been in process for a good long time but we are trying to turn over a new leaf and not show them off for years before you can buy one. Stay tuned we will be going over this a lot in detail over the next month or two

I’ve heard they want to exit the original set of DIY line products… wonder how they ended up dealing with the support for customers that bought into it.
We have no plans at the moment to exit the MN3024DIY and MN5048DIY they are decent little inverters for the price. We have a repair facility in house now and will offer support on these no worries.

Nope, High Frequency can surge no problem if built correctly
If it's built to handle that much surge. What's limiting its continuous output? Or are these high surges limited to milliseconds?
Low frequency units get higher surge capacity due to the nature of a transformer.
High frequency requires more robust circuitry. But this is the same circuitry that is used for continuous output. So I am very interested to learn what is limiting the continuous output. (Heat dissipation?)

Thx for coming over to the forum and sharing some updates! Can’t wait to see the announcement

I don't have much time as I need to get to the Intersolar show booth for the last day of this show.
This AIO is made in China, but it is LARGELY a MidNite Solar product.
We visited dozens of factories before settling on this company. It is a spin off of Eaton!
You may want to compare it to a Solark15K. The surge power of this unit kicks butt. The actual output is 11.4KW continuous. It has three programmable AC input/outputs. 60 amp for Gen input/programable output, 50 amp AC coupling input/programmable output, 30 amp programmable output, three 15 amp 120VAC output breakers, one 20 amp 120VAC output breaker. The programmable outputs can be controlled by your smart phone to disconnect based on battery voltage, SOC , utility failure etc.
It uses our standard Battery temp comp sensor, numerous other MidNite features that other AIO units don't have, like real tech support etc.
The DIY series is doing very well. They actually work and have been very reliable.....Well after some stumbling on the 5KW, but we fixed that a long time ago. They are nice rugged little units.
We will be looking for the best places to give away the first 20 units. We need to get the most out of these marketing units as there is a ton of competition. Some of it is pretty good, but a lot of it misses the mark.
I am always available to talk, so feel free to contact me about this unit.
I will post a brochure on this as soon as I get back from the show.
Thanks for your support. This is a tough business and we really appreciate what all you guys do for us.

Excellent news Robin & Halfcrazy.
I don't care where it's made, as long as it is made well & to robust specs.
I found the "Art-Deco" comment funny... I like Art-Deco myself, it's COOL ! Architects should bring it back with a modern twist IMO.

Dang thing about it.... Those of us who have Classics & are all setup would have to swallow a Big Chunk to convert over... I dunno many who'd want to sacrifice a few grand worth of SCC's that work amazingly well.

Sounds awesome.

I have zero online followers but let me start the begging for one of 20 units now :)

Why would you need to give up the classics?
