Who do you talk for hiring out the plans? Local solar companies want nothing to do with people that are diying most of the install.

Does anyone have an example of what a solar plan looks like. I am about to get permits for my solar install and they require a solar plan, I am not sure what this is supposed to look like.

If you wanted, see if you can change it to the new JK BMS, it has a built in 2a active balancer, it's one of the better bms's on the market (according to off grid garage and he is a pretty smart dude :).

So will one panel plug into the other in series with what is already on the panel or do I need jumper cables with the proper ends to make each connection from one panel to the other?

It will be about 70' total length from farthest panel to the inverter, around 375 volts, panels are ~4000 watts per string.

Does it matter if you mount your panels horizontal over vertically, is there an effect on their efficiency?

Is there a BMS that works with diy batteries and the 6000XP? I have a pallet of batteries for diy packs I will be building and have not bought a BMS yet. I have 3 6000XP's ordered I am going to be using the batteries with.

You keep saying they are about the same cost, but they are 50% more than the ones I was looking at, not sure why you keep saying this unless you know where to get them for .32 cents a watt with free shipping.

.47 cents a watt vs .32 cents, so 50 percent higher cost.

The Bluesun costs a lot more than the hyperion and is higher voltage, so less panels per string. What makes the Bluesun which are quite a bit more expensive better? This is the knowledge I am lacking to know which panels are good and which are not and why.

Have not figured that out yet, the inverters allow 2 strings per with max of 480v, will have 3 inverters so max of 6 strings. If I need a separate charger that is fine as well but ideally being able to hook them all the inverters is preferred.. even if I need to get a 4th inverter to do it that...

So what makes the ones you mentioned better than the two I listed? I am curious why the others are considered better. I don't really know the difference between them.

Still waiting for a reply from sales/support to my email, hopefully they are able to get to it soon. Let's see who wins, just emailed current connected as well, signature solar had a 5 day head start though. Shipping is a bit cheaper with current connected for me too.
