It does have temp sensors. 4 total. No software came in the package...I've emailed them.

Do they seem to be connected to the BMS, and just not attached to the battery? If they are connected to the BMS, why do you keep -40C or colder at your place? Turn on the heat, cheapskate!

They just went up another $100. Sucks because I was gonna buy 2 but now I'm just going to wait to see if the EG4s come down.

Going to give it a try, worst case if it is total crap it will go back to amazon.

Replacement BMS arrived today (DHL air from CN).

Battery is functioning properly. Tested it with 6kw Inverter running a chop saw and grinder.

Tech support was responsive and helpful. They are sending a 12V 150AH battery at no charge for the inconveniences.

Capacity testing tomorrow....will send update Saturday

Everything looks pretty much identical to what I found in their 300ah 12v battery.
One thing I did find out tonight is that my cells weren't top balanced at all. So may be something to investigate on their Server Rack Batteries as well.

Got mine yesterday and it fired up and ran well, everything in order so far.
However, I could not get it to communicate with anything. I emailed support and got an email from "Pinkie" with software and a manual. Manual is for a different and unknown JBD bms.
Software worked instantly and looks very thorough. It does show the BMS is set to an unusual protocol with no way to change it.

Next 2 posts will show all settings from the factory and a very interesting history log.
