I am about to wire this 48v 280ah setup but I'm not finding clear directions about how to do this properly, I checked the jbd website I noticed their cell configuration for 16s is different from the block configuration I have!
The jbd bms is JBD-AP20S003S, I have attached pictures of the BMS and battery setup below, Please any help is highly appreciated!

Lots of info on wiring this BMS throughout the forum...
Try searching AP20S003S, there are multiple wiring diagrams. I posted one as well as many other members, sorry I'm to lazy to search for you. You jumper a bunch of wires together into the same terminal.
Biggest advice is to check your voltage across the connector before plugging into the BMS, it will increase incrementally if you wired correctly.

Well I felt bad.

Thank you, I am getting to close to understanding all this

Finally succeeded in putting the battery together and wiring the BMS successfully, now we are Onnn! Thanks guys!

Looks great. Do you want to review your BMS settings? If so, post what you have.
Knowing your charger and charge settings would help too if you wanted a full sanity check.

Nice work. Gratifying, isn't it...
Interesting breaker setup.
FYI the the latest version of overkill solar BMS app is much better than xiaoxang, imo.

Thank you, We would be connecting the solar panels tomorrow, the Inverter is a hybrid 48v 5.5kw inverter Chinese brand called bonjour solar I hope it holds well after connecting 420 x6 solar panels...

Okay please what is the version number for the overkill solar bms app? Yes the breaker positive and negative poles was a little bit scaring to me so I just used them differently to avoid smokes ?

It's on the play / app store

Ok great ?, what features makes it better than the xiaoxiang v3.1.1026 ?

I find the layout much better, it's easier on the eyes.
Settings are easier to see / change.
You can save configurations and write to multiple packs.
Viewing / switching between multiple packs is easier.

Please do you understand why cell 1 is red and cell 2 is grey? Do I need to change any setting on the app?

Cell1 is the highest voltage and probably providing power for balancing to cell 3 (the lowest voltage). No matter how close the voltages are, these are colored and look more alarming because of the bold/different colors.

Okay thanks

Do I need to update the figures in nominal capacity and cycle capacity? It's showing 51ah for nominal capacity and 280ah for cycle capacity @MisterSandals

yes 51Ah should be your advertised capacity or known measured capacity. Not sure where nominal vs cycle capacity are used.

Under parameters setting I can see where to edit it, I attached the screenshot in this reply

What app version are you using? I have the $5 version from a couple years ago, v1.3.2. Looks like the app UI changed
Not sure why my cycle capacity is less than my total battery capacity.
