Hi,

How would you mount 200A JBD BMS to the DYI battery box? I do not see any mounting points on the body of the BMS. Should you mount it on fixed terminals with holes on connection bars (B- and C- connection)?

The smaller ones (8S 100A, 4S 100/120A) have as in the picture above small holes with M3 thread.

If you add a small M3 bolt and a small spacer you can easily secure it.

The 200A BMS doesn't have any mounts. I won't mount it on the in- and output busbars. Especially in a vehicle that will eventually fail (you're putting all the vibrations and the weight on the PCB)

I prefer mounting them with 4 plastic mounts and screw them to a piece of board, or use a aluminium L profile and tap into the heatsink to secure the profile

This question seems to be asked alot lately. I found this to be the best option. Drill and tap the heat sink with a m3 and use 3/4 in L brackets. This is what I do to all the jbd 200 amp. Picture is without the L brackets.
