240 split phase. Are you correct or not?

Another thing that confuses people who are building inverter systems is that the manufacturers are misrepresenting this in their settings.
For split-phase configuration, the setting is labeled 180. But the inverters are not actually 180 degrees out of phase.
They are always in phase with each other.
The only difference is that they are either wired in parallel or series.
Parallel equals twice the amperage. (At 120v)
Series equals twice the voltage. (240v)
Series with a center tap equals split-phase. (120v/ 240v)
 
I still do, occasionally.
Even after 38 years of practice. lol
14,400v on a wet day with gloves and di-electric bucket truck can be shocking all day.

That video is very relevant to our 120v inverters being used in series to make a split phase system. One might need to be aware of polarity when paralleling an AIO 120/240, as a fault could be made.
 
Whilst there's only a single phase supply, if you want to treat them as the same phase, try connecting them together & see what happens.
