While planning my first solar system I'm also thinking about what can go wrong. In the event of a power outage AND an inverter problem I'd like the ability to run some lights directly from the 48v rack batteries. So I hopped on Amazon and started searching for 48v LED lights. I found these below that look like they'd fit the bill.
Having flashlights is handy if you remember to have batteries or keep them charged, but having a light that can run 48v direct would be even better IMO. I'll either wire them directly or put some alligator clips on them - through fused lines of course. Has anyone else worked on some type of solar room lighting that can be powered directly from the battery racks? Am I searching for a solution to a problem that will never happen? Thanks.
