Ampere Time 300Ah to Start 9.8hp outboard

I wanted to use this battery for my power supply on my 26ft sailboat for weekend trips. I have a 9.8hp Tohatsu electric start/tilt outboard. 1) Could this battery start this motor without damaging the battery? 2) This motor has an alternator that charges the battery it is connected to while it is running. Would this alternator damage this battery since it is lithium? Thoughts anyone?

Yes it can start it.
If you concerned look up the starter spec or get a multi meter with INRUSH current measuring capability.

Charging - Yes, but I would get a voltage converter, they run like $15

Do you know the alternator's ouput?
I am guessing something like 10A @13v?
