As @Will Prowse noted in a recent video, even the ones rated for 45 amps will get very warm when run at rated capacity. My first try was running 40 amps through the 45 amp rated connectors:

The 50 amp rated connectors worked much better (didn't get nearly as warm):

So, leave yourself a comfortable margin, even the silver-plated pure copper connectors will get warm.
Yes, I used the proper crimp tool for all of them, no I don't solder them.
How about the twist lock welding cable connectors ?
These are very rugged and the standard in the welding industry for up to 300 amps.
Much more solid than an Anderson connector, and fit the appropriate sized welding cable.
