Battery with more than 15v

Hello everyone.
After installing my 12v 4s battery, it was charged to 14.6v, it has been stopped for a while and when I go to use it it reads more than 15v, when connecting it to consumers the voltage rises to 15.80v.
Does anyone know what this is and how I can fix it?

Your BMS high voltage cutoff is too high, reset that to 3.7v so you're not over charging your cells.

Charging it should wake up the BMS.

If it's reading less than 3.5v per cell then it's not fully charged. Throw it on the charger and top it up. The BMS should stop charging when the first cell hits 3.7v if you have that programmed correctly. When the battery finishes charging, don't be surprised if it stops at 14.5 or 14.6 or so, then sits and settles down to 14v or so as everything settles out.
