I don’t hear @Will Prowse talk about battery compression but it is recommended most everywhere else. Any recommendations on the best way to do this for an 8 cell bank that is arranged in a 2x4 setup (see photo)?
Thinking a 1 or 2” wide steel plate across the middle of the batteries front and back of the pack, held together with all-thread on either side.
I also need to mount the batteries so they don’t move, thinking a 1 or 2” wood frame at the bottom to retain them in should be fine.
Open to anyone else’s great ideas on this though!
