I have a 17.5ah 48v ebike battery capable of 840wh that I would like to get dual use from but it is pushing 42 amps. I also have an ac200p and in the manual it states (only 12A will be received when the current exceeds 12A)for the solar input. Now I take this as it's okay to go over and it will take care of it but not sure. Don't want to harm the bluetti or throw codes.

i've been looking for an answer to this as well, did you find out anything about going over the 12a limit? i mean the manual says "only 12A will be received when the current exceeds 12A" like you stated but.... im just a bit worried about blowing up the inverter lol

You may need to e-mail Bluetti directly and see if they have the information. I haven't been able to find an answer anywhere.

I emailed Bluetti and they said the 12 amp limit was a hard limit. No idea if there will be damage from going over it.

Would think they would have a breaker built in for it.
