Solar Sponge.
His priorities differ from yours I guess.I question the priorities. Guess I'm not a true believer.
Not sure what there is to believe in.
Stuff works.
Weather it makes financial sense or not is an individual thing.

One has to ask, just where is the money coming from?Ahh Maybe but I ain’t buying. Was just looking at his system.
Kinda looks like an old Drive in movie screen.?
Awful lot of assumptions there but yes he has some money tied up in stuff. One has to ask, just where is the money coming from?
I see excavators, large solar array, fairly large new house. I'm sure there is more. Either he has a very accommodating lender (doubtful) or he has an income stream that can support servicing a high amount of debt or he won the lottery and didn't tell anyone.
I take number 2, then it just becomes a case of where does the income come from if he is busy cleaning out the chicken coop?
This is my array. I'm not shoveling snow away from it. If you watch the video in the first post, the snow is already above the bottom of his array in some places. My array is engineered for wind, the mount supplier gave me the report before purchase. It costs more to bore a hole deep and cement in poles and the poles aren't cheap either. But if it's too high the wind will catch it so it's a trade-off.
Put a big sheet on there and at night you could watch movies..This is my array. I'm not shoveling snow away from it. But I'm not shoveling the snow away.......
Selling, of course.Awful lot of assumptions there but yes he has some money tied up in stuff.
Where did it come from?
Who’s to say.
My neighbor says the same and he could charge admission to park in his field across the fence.Put a big sheet on there and at night you could watch movies..
Hey worse things have been tried. My neighbor says the same and he could charge admission to park in his field across the fence.
Yea I wasn’t aware of his past life. This guy? I'll pass.
Got a picture of the possible widow, I might be interested? Is there a fishing boat in the deal?Bad idea! His poor wife must be terrified!
If anything ever happened to him....
Could you expand on this? I'm working on a row system with cover cloth for weed control. I'm not going with a paper pot system yet but I have a huge weed load. How he controlled weeds could save me LOTS of time. Some people near me have had success with some of his techniques. No, I'm not an urbanite and his urban gardening stuff was sold to people who didn't know better.
But some city folk loved the guy before he came clean with them

What do you mean he came clean? Please tell.
He addresses that. Mountain and it is because of the wind. Earlier in this video, he shows how he deals with snow:I don't take people talking about solar seriously when they install PV in a heavy snow area close to the ground. Get that stuff off the ground unless you like moving snow.
Goats they work wonders and are pretty good to eat also, the ultimate weed & feed ?Could you expand on this? I'm working on a row system with cover cloth for weed control. There are trees behind the array. That does affect wind load. In my case, to the NW, I have a 60x80x16 shed for a windblock. Already been thru a 50mph+ blizzard this winter. To the SW, I have a 60x72 shop building to block wind, summer storms here always come from SW. None of those factors were in the computations for the engineering report with the rating for 104mph.He addresses that. Mountain and it is because of the wind. Earlier in this video, he shows how he deals with snow:
You’re flogging people who rolled the dice, took some risk, and are getting some award from that risk. Maybe stop being jealous and figure out something other than being the assistant manager at Wendy’s?Selling, of course.
Ever hear of Bob Wells and his Youtube channel? Guy was homeless, then living in various vehicles, car, cargo trailer, van and now an ambulance. He is a nomad, traveling around. He was interviewed once and he said the amount of money he makes off Youtube is surprising. He does give back however, started and hosted the RTR for years to teach newcomers how to adopt an alternative lifestyle or being a nomad or someone just wanting to RV and getting started, all for free. He is known to give to others less fortunate with his new found wealth.
This guy? I'll pass.
Do you have a spare room?It will be interesting to see how they do way up north on a hill if the GSM is in play next cycle. Knowing this guy he will come up with something, he seems pretty smart. The greenhouses will help but they will be in for some brutal winters.
I went a different route and came down south for the GSM just to the north edge of "the south", in the "more free" part of America. Good luck everyone. I hope you all saw the warning signs during covid and adjusted your plans correctly. If you are not reading the writing on the wall that is right in front of you there is still time. The mind doesn't like change but its coming. This guy figured it out, did you?
I’m still trying to figure out what GSM means and I’m fairly redpilled.Do you have a spare room?
