My DIY batteries packs need a DIY BMW.
I have a fantastic Victron ESS system with a Lynx Shunt that provides SoC and fire basics alarms.
I think it is now time to
- monitor voltage at each cell
- (nice to have) do active/passive balancing
the DIYBMS looks sexy, but according to my research I need to activate DVCC in order to get that BMS in the victron ecosystem.
Now I am very happy with Lynx Shunt feature and I do not want to lose them with the DVCC activation.
Example can I still use the LynxShunt SoC in the Victron ESS or am I forced to use the BMS SoC with the DVCC on?
Any suggestions? I do not want to run into these similar problems
I just want to monitor the voltage cell and fire some Victron alarms if there is a unbalance cell situation.
