Dear all DIYer.
New to this forum and no knowledge about DIY solar system. a bit of background of my situation.
1. Purchased 15 panel used from Facebook market place. Qcell brand, 340 W, Voc 40.66 Short circuit 10.52
2. Ecoflow Delta Pro Ultra- Spec MPPT 1 (high Voltage PV) = 80-450 V, 15A, 4000W MPPT2 ( Low Voltage PV)= 30-150V, 15A, 1600W. It can input both at the same time
My question is
Series or Parallel? My thought is 2 set strings, all in series connection... HV PV= 10 to 11 Panels in Series which brings 4000 to 4400W and 400V to 440V LVPV = 3 Panels in Series = 1020W, 120V. 2 sets string will under 10.52 Amp. I will also install the circuit breaker Disconnect and 2 pole mini circuit breaker.. Higher Amp pass through, more danger?
Am I correct about my calculation and set up plan?
What makes me crazy is youtube video of the solar panel caught fire on the roof because of wrong installation, wiring, etc. That makes me chicken somehow.
many thanks
