Hi,

Just want to share the experience so far regarding buying a 14.33KWH Wall mount battery pack (BR-OW-LV 14.33KWH) from Shenzhen Basen Technology US stock. It comes with GRADE A REPT 280ah cells and 200 amps BMS. It also has wheels, bluetooth enabled and a LCD.

The representative Carrier Basen is very knowledgeable. She answered all my questions. Originally, I was quering about raw 280ah cells US stock then based on the conversation, she proposed me a Wall mount battery pack option (see the manual attached). The total cost of the 14.33KWH wall mount battery pack is less than $150 per KWH which in my view is pretty good instead of going on a DIY route (ordering raw cells, BMS, building rack or using DIY battery kit etc.). I don't mind DIY though but the cost is almost at par with buying a fully built battery pack off the shelf.

She (Carrier) ran extra mile and double checked the compatibility of my inverter (Sungoldpower) with the battery pack (see attached compatibilty sheet). That's nice of her. She immediately started working on the shipping of the product after the payment is processed.

Carrier provided the Manual on the battery pack, information regarding the cells that are used in the battery pack and BMS that is utilized in it; during the conversation. See attached.

The most important part is that it is a US stock, comes with a warranty, plug & play and it will be delivered in a week. I ordered it yesterday and will update this thread once I receive the battery pack.

BTW – I hit a minor snag during the payment process. My card was kept on declining and then I used Google Pay and it went through fine.

Sorry, I forgot to put the product link. Here you go-

The shipment arrived almost in a week as promised. The packaging was very sturdy (came in a plywood box). It came with extra battery cables, concrete bolts to hang and communication cables. Hooked it up in an hour, it was pretty much seamless. Dragging this monster battery pack (300+ pounds) to its location was the most time consuming part. You really need a friend or two to move this around on an uneven surface. The wheels were very helpful. Currently, working on the Inverter to recognize this new battery. Will update soon.

Only slightly off-topic, SS has the EG4 PP outdoor model for $265.66 / Kilowatt-hour
Not that either of them have the 10-year results. 😁

I think this is the same unit:
They claim it will be shipped from their EU warehouse

and in the cart, ready to be shipped to California with payment of a Credit Card:

With paypal:

That would be roughly $177/kWH
I wonder how much/if there will be an import duty on those batteries.

You need to chat with Carrier, add to cart will always be higher price. She will adjust the price based on the deals at that time and send you an invoice via Alibaba to pay for it.

Hi, I have what I think may be a similar setup to you. I have Solaredge panels/inverter/battery. Am I right in understanding that I can add non-Solaredge batteries to my overall system (like you seem to have done)?

Yes, as long as Battery can communicate with the Inverter's protocol.

Before buying this battery pack; the Battery vendor confirmed me that my inverter is compatible with the battery pack (that they are selling) aka it is compatible with the Pylon protocol.

Sometime's you have to go into the Battery setup to make that change. I double checked the protocol by installing the BMS software on my laptop (see the screenshot).
