[FIXED] Careful if you ordered Apexium DIY Box (melted fuse cover)

Mod boxes were ordered over 6 weeks ago it will be what it will be I will soon find out.

I said that it appeared to be brass being next to a ring terminal lug that is obviously copper and of a different color..
I was questioning this in hopes that someone could verify otherwise.

The box listed below was my primary choice however the salesperson was being overly pushy and I was already getting my cells and some other equipment through Jenny Woo at Docan so I ended up just going with their box instead they were both basically the same $cost$ once cabling and shipping was fingered in and they both used the JK inverter BMS.
remember some/a few of the posters on this forum receive remuneration by the chinese vendors, just like a lot of the popular you tube channels do for running interference for them.

If I start saying stuff like man I just love my Hithiums I got for $30 you know they've taken control of my account lol. Or I got a big suitcase of cash to change my tune.

the fact that several people on this forum have done exactly that after professing a love for (insert item or brand) for months on end recommending everyone purchase it, and then suddenly change to a new brand to treat exactly the same tells me they are getting paid.

YOU... on the other hand we know to have a bad infection of Bluitus or Smurfitus 🤪 🤪 🤪

Be sure and report any such activity so we can weed out shills for stuff!

If there are such folks on this forum, or in this threat, I'd be interest to hear who they are, as they are violating the forum rules

I think for a McLaren like the solar Sovereign guy has I can be turned to pimping the tremendous value of Luxpower AIOs...:)

If solark can step it up to the private jet "gift" tier, the solark 15k will be the Lord and Savior, no more mentions of Deye at a third of the price mmmhmmm lips are sealed.

In actuality Victron will send me a copy of their calendar and I'll fall on my knees in submission.

In seriousness though I haven't seen examples of that, tho I have seen people who were super angry at sig solar/eg4 due to endless customer service or hardware issues and then one day they go back edit all their posts and say something like "no issues and I recommend them". But that's a case of "reputation management" and not an FTC violation like you are talking about (that the online reviewer needs to disclose if he's getting compensated for his "opinion"). Would only apply to US based "content creators".

dude, you sound like Smurfette is lounging on a duvet with her legs spread... 😍
I'll have to do a good job there because after I'm done I'll have to break the news that I've gone for the dark side with a Midnite hawkes bay 90A instead of another 450/100. Prob be warming up the punishment paddle for me.

make sure you do a right up on that hawkes bay. midnite is pricey but they have quite a few years under their belt so it should be interesting to see how it works.

Will do. Honestly I picked it up at such a good price it was less than a 450/100. Even at regular pricing it's only about $100 more.

Positives for me are:

Built in Arlington, WA
600V limit with 585V effective top end
Seamless Canbus integration with Rosie.

Biggest fear is fan noise but only way to be sure is to experience it. Also not having two trackers like the 450/100, have to step up to the 200A Barcelona for that with Midnite. But the Midnites are good for up to 30A versus the 450s with 18A limits, so you can easily do a parallel string to get some solid overpanelling going on.
