Growatt SPF 5000ES firmware update

Hello,

Has anybody updated their Growatt 5000 firmware? I believe that I'm on 041 05 701. Does anybody know what the latest version is? And if you do, what updates or goodies are in the latest firmware update?

Thanks

Dave
I have this , but my system is 18 months old ? If the updates are in numerical sequence then it must be updated ?

I just got a couple of bin files from signature solar and they seem to be older files. I'm having an issue where one of my inverters wouldn't wake up with the sun. I just wonder if I should go with the newer versions I picked up here or should I stick with what they gave me? F2809_SK040.06__20211201A & F030_SK041.06_20211201_A. If anyone has any experience with this firmware, please let me know. I would like to know they are stable before I really start depending on them. Thanks in advance.

Does anyone has the firmware files 40/41.05 from july 2021?

That fw is the last having 18A MPPT limit but it does not have the PV power throttling down issue.

Here you go, let us know how this works for you, I also feel the 040.6 is not performing as it should,

Kind greetings.

What about the fw 067?
Is that for a new series of SPF5000ES, or different commboard?
Is anybody kind to post some observations, behavior differences between 40/41.06 and 067/068....?.

Yes that one has a new MCU and BMS board, but not for us, I just find the unit seems a little lazy, maybe we need some rain to clear the air, but right now only getting 75% of rated power before it was at 85-90%

Above is my solar array output for today October 18th, partly cloudy fall day. The inverter in red is the inverter with 067 01 104, 068 01 104 firmware, the rest are 040 05 701, 041 05 701. Nothing else is different. All inverters have 395 watt panels 14, in a 7s2p configuration. The 5th inverter is not hooked to any panels right now, so I left the data off. Thoughts???

The difference is too big.
It could not be the fw 040 05 so bad.

Sice your setup is parallel it would be useful one inverter with the firmware 040 06 104.

No yet.
Today I want to.
Ok would be nice to see if things improve, but looking at the other post, comparing the new vs old MCU if the panels are all getting the same amount of sun, the newer units do better?? No is the answer to that, just depends on the loads, need to have equal loads on all the inverters to compare ,

So what decides load? All are hooked to same battery at same point.
it seems the red fellow was charging at one value and the others lower, guess all together would would equal the rated charge amps for the batteries.

I did the firmware downgrade.

I did the firmware downgrade.
The version you posted is newer than I expected.
It ends with A09 (october 2021) and I expected 701 (I think summer 2021).

So far the PV power is steady (does not throttle down) when increasing the load.
~3500W PV
~ 4500W AC load.
I will post images after 3-4h.

I am aware I lost the 22A limit of the MPPT but since 2 weeks, I haven't seen PV power >5000.

I have the older 040.05 if you need it, what panels and numbers of do you have?

My one inverter with 067 firmware, maxed out at 6k yesterday, a few times. I have 395w bi facial panels 7s2p. It made about 2kwh more power than the other three inverters.
