Help me Install 3 EG4 Mini Split Solar Heat Pumps

Well I'd probably have to say after running both at 12K and a 24K if you have the square footage need and can afford the extra solar panel space, I'd go for the 24. The fan blows much harder inside. And it seems to cool a room down quicker.

I know I thought I might have preferred three of the 12K units, but now comparing the two for the larger part of my house I'm glad I got the 24K units

But that said the 12K is already down to a vent temp of 53.2° f (It made it down to 51f) and it is 89 outside. So it cools just fine. It just does not move as much air in the room as the 24k. But wide open on the grid, it only uses about 990 Watts or less.

It is more then adequate for a larger size bedroom and ensuite bathroom

Ah. Good to know. Can you show a screenshot inside the app see if it looks different than the Solar Aircon app?? MrM1 did you experiment with that ??

The 12k has a 15W indoor blower motor, and the 24k 45W. So your observations seem in line with that.

Man let me just say...

These units pull a lot of humidity out of the air

I have to have a bucket for now under the 12k because it's in my car port. It has been powered on for less than 8 hours and has filed up over a gallon of water in the bucket.

Spec sheet says the SEER rating of the DIY 12k is 28.5 up from 25 of the non diy? Odd

And the DIY has a service connection cover. Nicer.
