I have rebuilt my Home Brew Victron Logger, to be less clumsy, it also accepts an optional OLED display:

The project is discussed here.
The material required is very limited:
  • A micro DC-DC converter
  • An ESP8266 microcontroller: e.g. Wemos D1 Mini
  • A JST 2mm pigtail
  • A screw terminal
Optional:
  • An OLED Shield for the Wemos D1 Mini
The BOM is less than 10$, with display, add 3$.
Discover how powerful this small beast is...

The schematic diagram is very simple:

Nothing else (excepted WLAN) required: no computer, no gateway, no subscription.
You get a worldwide accessible gorgeous dashboard 100% free:

( Sorry for the ridiculous values, I currently only have a small panel and an overcasted cloudy weather)
:(

I will soon describe the Non-Victron vendor-agnostic Smarter_Shunt variant.

The material required is very limited:
  • A micro DC-DC converter
  • An ESP8266 microcontroller: e.g. Wemos D1 Mini
  • An INA221 Off-Rail Voltage/Current measuring module
  • A shunt corresponding to your needs (which you may have)
  • A small case, some 3-pole connectors (I recommend the mini aviation connectors, cheap and good)
Here on the picture the build with 2 shunts variants: one build between two XT60 connectors, and one with an external shunt.
Optional:
  • An OLED Shield for the Wemos D1 Mini
The BOM is less than 15$, with display, add 3$.
