How do I get UL approved?

I'm starting with 4 awg and shootin for about 60 Amps in my safety switch disconnect. If nothing else, it will save the rest of my battery cables.

I think you might need to shrink the filament size a bit more if you want it to blow at 60A. UL's probably also going to want a bit of shielding around it in case someone's nearby when it overcurrent trips.

oKaY, so I cut a few more strands and put shrink tube over the whole thing.

Good call, keep em coming.
Maybe the little metal clips, black with metal loop type handles, so I can close the door.
If the door hits the handle of the clip, it'll just fold the handle over.

Can't believe you'd want to use clothes hangers. They are NOT desinged for this use case. Try these. Insulated handles makes all the difference and may push you over the UL safety mark for certification.
