As it should be as that is a 15A receptacle.I have both on my inverter but was told the receptacle was limited to 15A current.

Yeah, bit if the receptacle is limited to 15A then it shouldn't be a 20A receptacle- the assumption would he made you could plug an appliance in that pulls 16A and uses the 20A plug, and it would not support it and would trip.It can be a 20a as well.

Most likely saving a nickel.I agree. It seems lots of these inverters only have 15A receptacles for some reason though.
