Is there a Correct Way to Eject Devices from an Rpi Cerbo GX?

My Rpi Cerbo GX has multiple devices plugged into the USB ports of the Rpi, by way of “VE.Direct cables”.

Does it cause any problems if the cables are unplugged without performing any “eject” procedure?

I have been reading the Cerbo GX manual, but as far as I can tell, there is no way to “eject” the cables before unplugging the cables.

I am fairly new to my setup and find myself needing to unplug the cables more often than I would like to.

Rule of thumb for me is if the device is being written to for data storage I want to eject it. If its feeding the device that stores the data I just disconnect it without ejecting.

Since the GX is the writer it should be safe disconnecting things from it without worrying about it.
