Built a 12v 280 ah with a 200 JBD BMS. Was wondering what the go to box is for marine use. Tried a $13 NOCO for group 31's and it's a little long for me, but not by much. Any ideas and where to source?

We built ours out of 5/16" marine plywood. Compression frame in the wood box, and the assembly sits on top of plastic tool deck tile, and there are multiple drainholes in the bottom of the box. The compression assembly is in turn strapped down with nylon straps. The whole thing is then covered by a lexan cover. The photo below predates the cover, but it works well.
Here is a thread documenting my system. My alternator is managed by a Wakespeed WS500 regulator and charges my Lithium bank directly. The starter battery is maintained by an 18A Orion-Tr.

I went a different route and built a couple of side plates and six tie-rods to compress the cells... The neat thing about this is I can rearrange the cells or make the case a different size later by just changing the length of the tie-rods. The square tubing is sized perfectly and locks into the channels on the sides of the Voltronix cells locking them in place. Just a thought...
