Max charge rate question

I have 5 - 12 volt - 200 amp hour lipo battery’s connected in parallel. The BMS has a max charge rate of 200 amps, does this mean the 1000 amp hour battery bank can be charged at a max rate of 200 amps or does the amount of charge go up with each battery. Thanks for your help.

Iipo refers to lithium polymer. Assume you mean LiFePO4 or LFP.

They stack, but that depends on how well balanced the parallel bank is. See link #6 in my signature for best practices.

IMHO, you can't count on 1000A, but you can likely count on 800-900A if the bank is well balanced.
