Modbus comms with (Deye) inverter

I tried pin 7, 8 and also 1,2 but without any results with read function, You mean pin 3, 4?

@festr, lets try study modbus map from me, which I obtain directly from deye support. The datasheet was tranlated by deepL. Modbus map is for 3phase Hybrid LV inverters, but maybe usable for HV models.

Others: Maximum sell power is possible driving by register 340 on 3phase Hybrid. But I don't know, if you do some massive writes into inverter and the FLASH memory will be happy next year.

Have anyone some information about massive Modbus writes and impact to lifetime? Maybe storage is RAM with capacitor or battery backup, then it is right. Otherwise I will be scared.

Too bad REG 141 description is a total mess. I think it represents System Work mode.
I'd be interested switching between Zero Export to Load and Zero Export to CT by modbus command.
 
Found it and verified regWrite() with Deye Cloud Read of System Work Mode-1 Page for 12k 3f model.
System Work Mode = REG 142
0 : Solar Sell
1: Zero Export to Load
2: Zero Export to Ct

I have the same problem as you because modbus table from Deye is in bad English translation.
I bought this RS 485 converter and with help from my colleague who understands modbus better then me we find some useful data.

Have you tried the Wifi/RS232 port ?
Where is the modbus port? I manual I can find a port called RS485/CAN is that the one?
