Need a main panel, pv wire, ecg (array) recommendation

What about a nice 10g “generator” extention cord to connect the array to the charge controller?

Plug in when we’re there, unplug when we’re gone. Super easy, and portable when we hopefully get our own cabin (or just rent one with power)
Sure
As long as it's rated for the voltage and amperage it will be carrying.
Don't use standard AC cord ends.
Maybe MC4 connectors.

I was thinking the beefy “twist lock” plug ends. The 30a ones, l5 or something?
if I use mc4, I suppose I could use mc4 for EGC as well?

If anyone ever plugged it into the wrong place. You would be buying new equipment.

Same issue as above.

Best to choose something that is not common for anywhere it would be used.

So for my dc disconnect (before charge controller) I was going to buy the IMO knockoff from current connected (1st picture), but I found this on Amazon (2nd pic).

it’s a Chinese dc breaker. Not sure if it’s safe or not? (Current connected one is likely China made but I trust current connected)

what say yee on the Amazon dc breaker for my array disconnect?
