Yes as the BMS switched the negative not the positive (the positive goes straight from the battery to the outlet)

The reason for switching the negative is that there is less stress put on the switches

Just one thing, I found a manual for the vertical kit with this board and the fuse appears to connect on the positive side.
Do you still reckon it's on the negative side with the kit I have ?

Nope, no word from Fogstar or Seplos. ?
Not sure how confident I am about hooking it up to the battery without some official documentation or at least a picture of the confirmed configuration.

You were spot on about the inverter terminals being the other way round too.
Didn't notice that until you mentioned it.
