Small System Got Me Through 12 Hours

We had a big windstorm a couple of weeks ago that took down trees and knocked power out for 12 hours. I have 100 AH battery which powered a lamp (LED bulb), radio, charging batteries. Then we plugged up refrigerator around 9 pm and ran until power was restored around 6 am the next morning. Battery wasn’t used up, but it was probably around 20% remaining. My wife said we need another similar setup to use in the basement apartment. So happy that I had this option!
