Certainly not a new topic. It is so difficult to find a solar calculator that is not linked to a provider. I know there is one that has been presented here.

I found this interactive tool and it looked fairly interesting. Wanted to get your opinion on it. Again, not an endorsement of any product:

I have writen a solar calulator in excel, based on ambient temp. It will also help you size how many panels you need for your controller.
