Two JK BMSs in series

Hi everyone.

I build two 12.8 LiFePo4 batteries with JK bms 200A/2A active balancer. JK B2A8S20P. Each battery has 4 cells in serries - 4S.

If I connect this 2 batteries in series to get 24v bank, will this BMSs handle it?

That model can support up to 8s. Why not just run it as an 8s pack ?

I have the same question. I want to build 2x 100Ah portable camping batteries @12V and I'm hoping the JK BMS will support 2 in series for 24V in case I need to augment my 24V 2KW solar cargo-trailer system in an emergency. I have the 4-8s 40A model. Has anyone ran these JK BMS' in series? I don't see any reason it wouldn't work. I understand there will be a balancing issue so one may shut down and cause loss of the series pack. I'm just asking if there's anything that would make this dangerous or not work. Currently I have 2x 280Ah EVE 24V DIY packs. This isn't a question of "should I do it?", it's "can I do it?"
