Upgrading Midnite Classic 150 to Magnum PT-100

I have been a Magnum guy forever. I had 4 old inverters running and wanted back up's, being unsure about the (new) Mexico version,
I pulled two old down and install the new to run under warranty in case of problems,

So you have 2 that say "Made in Mexico"?

I have an older MS2812, the thing is a beast and can handle some loads. Maybe not as efficient as a toroidal Victron but dang, it can handle some surges!

Victron seems to have a more modern design on the LF inverter that looks better balance between surge capacity and efficiency. I'm all Victron going forward, though I would not pass up a good deal on an older model Magnum.
I'm sticking with Magnum mainly because they have transformers that can handle heavy loads. We have a 5-ton AC unit and run it in the summer with no problem. My two original 4448pae's are US-made, the one I bought last year is probably Mexico-made. The quality seems good.
