UPS alternatives?

I've modified a few UPS's to take lithium batteries. I disabled the charging circuit, and charge them externally with a lithium charger.

Can you share how you disabled the charging circuitry? I have a vew 1500VA APC UPSes that if I do just that, I can charge Lifepo4 batteries externally and use the UPS function as intended.

We're in the process of setting up several Victron Multiplus units as UPS's, i'll follow up with how it turns out. We are very tired of buying expensive UPS's with crap battery storage and terrible runtime. We're throwing 10-15kWh 48v batteries at this guys runtime in the many many hours now.

I will post my question here first, but any thoughts on what you would go for as a centralized UPS for a home? I have ~6 locations where I need UPS power, but am looking for something that can also support a refrigerator. I am hoping for something as efficient as possible, and part of me would want to use it for load shifting as well. Average load is ~600W, and average energy is ~14kWh/day (~10kWh over the ~15 hours I would load shift with it).

I was thinking an EG4 indoor wall mount unit plus a 6000XP inverter. No solar would be connected.
