Update on my battery build. Decided to not mount the BMS under the top of the case(see picture) as it would make it really difficult to work with the cables(using 4/0) and put it all back to where the top needs to be. So I mounted it to a stiff cutting board(for isolation) and placed it on top of the battery area.(see picture) This allowed me easily work with BMS cables and the positive cables attached to the new cut-off switch(see picture). I purchased a new Rincon Power HVBD 600A Disconnect. That thing is a beast! Quality feels so good! (Compared to the one included with the kit) Changed the mounting positions of both the power cables and the disconnect switch(see picture). This allows me to have the status LED’s pointing away from the wall (visible) and all cables and disconnect easily accessible on the side.
