diy solar

Very new to solar but started purchasing items, not sure of the final specs of the whole system.

After work, I took some time to mount the third 18kpv. The 220lb growatt is on the other side. I doubled the 2x4 before mounting the growatt. I even added some crossbracing; I would not have thought I would be adding one to the outside.

Is that in a hallway or something?

You have stuff all in one area or spaced out across your footprint?

Looks like that door might have some trouble opening fully.

It's in the basement, but I have been running out of room for a while. Luckily, it's a double door, so it's not too big of a deal. I will have to mount the victron out past the other two inverters.

Battery test underway, one point only charged to 3.60.

So far the best battery I have tested.

I decided to run the 4/0 as my busbars only have one connection left out of 12. I managed to get the 4/0 in;
the wire was well lubricated, but it still took a lot of work.

I finished the third one and updated all three to 19 firmware. The WiFi setup is so much easier than it was for the growatts. I took the time to watch the no load only battery connected watts. It went from 55, 82, 105 and then back down again in a cycle.

I had lots to do today and ran them hard all day. They are so quiet compared to the 6500ex. They also run much cooler than the 6500ex and even more so than the growatt 12k.

That’s good. Glad everything works the way it’s supposed too.

I was out for a couple of hours, and it was so cool to log in via the phone and see everything. I spent more time cutting busbars but still have a bunch to drill. I'm going to give the daily 400 amp BMS a try. It comes with a parallel function and can do 15amp balancing. Hopefully, this bank will perform the same as the other two and will not be needed.

Here are a few pictures of the 24k Mini.

I need to look that up, as I'm unfamiliar with it. I will take a picture of my 1.5t Mr. Cool to compare since it looks very similar.
I don't know that you can get them shipped to the US, iirc it's similar to the solark situation.

They have very similar specs; the Mr. Cool is very similar in appearance.

Slowly put the busbars on the first one; it is incredible how long it takes to clean them.
They were just as dirty as the copper busbars.

I have been buying from Onlinemetals for some time; my last order was incorrect. I started to cut some and then realized that it was undersized. I sent them an email and pictures showing the issues, and they resent the shipment. I was very impressed by how quickly they fixed the issue and wanted to post about the great service.

I use them almost exclusively.
They have been very good to me..

18kpv will work with at 183v but not 138v. I tried moving two arrays to them, but they had the same results.
