Please Needing Help Quick

@smoothJoey
Why are you sad about removing the ground prong?
NEC allows the use of a GFCI, to provide a 3 prong receptacle, on a two wire system.
This is no different.

Do you hear the generator "hunting"?
No it sounds normal. But I have an update. Using the cord with no ground prong I cannot replicate what inwas able to do the other day. I cannot get it to work at all. No ground prong and still tripping GCFI. Now I’m stumped

Can you show us picture of your generator focusing on the receptacles?

Back on page three I posted a link to a document from the product info page. The Predator 4375 is not an inverter generator. When it stops charging, does the grid icon disappear?

NOTE: Inverter-type generators are strongly recommended as they have cleaner output than conventional generators. If waveform, voltage, or frequency output of the generator is not of suitable quality, then it will be rejected by the inverter. This is often marked by the inability to connect under LINE MODE, either in the form of blinking / flashing or complete absence of the grid icon (marked red below)

Now you have a ground rod connected.
That's what is carrying current.

No the grid icons stayed on the whole time in previous scenario. It was only the charging icon that would come and go

I'm starting to wonder if the leaking current is going through the dirt.

I would call Ian, and see what he suggests. He knows these inverters inside and out.

I’m getting lots of confusing information here yall…. My genny never had a ground rod I added it because it was recommended

Lol yep. Thanks. Disconnected ground rod from Genny and now it’s not tripping GCFI
I would still call Ian.
You don't want to be the next ground connection, between the GFCI and the inverter.
Even though that's what a GFCI is for.

You don't happen to have a dogbone that will give you 120VAC off of the 120/240VAC receptacle by any chance?

No I don’t. I’m not even sure what that is sorry. I’ve texted the guy at Watts247 waiting now. Uhg batteries need chargin
