Acopower 100W Solar Panel $49.99

Hi, just joined today and this was the first post I read. I promptly ordered 4 100W panels with the discount since the 200W are sold out. Looking forward to adding them to my system. To the the member who shared this information, thank you very much!!

Thanks! I am in Bay area so the boxes are not going to see much handling, damaged panels in shipping are what I'm worried about the most.
I wonder why the seller on Amazon did not show ACOPower as the brand of the panel.
I cannot wait to get mine, and may order more before the discount runs out.
Opened both boxes...panels look good.
Much appreciated, I'll sleep better tonight as I have 10 on the way. Let us know when you get a chance if the outputs are to spec.

Take a look at what I found today, I just posted it a while-ago and I'm try not to get too excited. However, it's been the best week for deals I've ever seen - inflation or not ;)

Theory 1: is that these panels were previously sold-by and returned-to Acopower and a 3rd party is offloading them.
Theory 2: The new tariffs on Chinese-made panels are resulting in shenanigans, lots of 'generic' panels are hitting the market and I think they all have one thing in common - source of manufacture. I think the idea is to obscure that and that is why the descriptions are off and the labels are missing.

The label is still on the panel as shown in post #44 that one of our member, idex, just received the panels today, the panels are made in Vietnam which is how the Chinese is trying to get around the tariff by having the panels made in other S.E Asian countries, always a loop hole for China. I just hope that they will performed well.

yes but not in the Amazon listing ;)

Why is it that lots of people received these, but No One has done a simple test to see if they work? People posted that they received them, but did not take the time to open them. Instead they had time to post on this forum. Very strange.

My panel labels are ON, they are new panels in new Acopower packaging, you can register the serial numbers for warranty at Acopower. They're being sold on Amazon which has very high customer satisfaction standards.

I should have been more explicit when I posted this reply, the labels are not on the panels in the photos for the Amazon listing.

I agree, but some folks may be fillping them. I will be making an unboxing video when I get mine just in-case something is susphishy and I need to dispute with Amazon. I have a feeling that this is probably tariff related and they are going to be good panels. Perhaps we'll get lucky and someone will perform a simple test and upload some photos before I receive mine in a few days...

Agree… very odd indeed…I hope everyone’s panel turn out to be a great purchase. I say that truthfully…I probably missed the boat not getting a few.
but I would be fibbing if I didn’t say that the words to a famous old song from the Miami Vice sound track keeps popping up in my head..
” the lure of easy money, it has a very strong appeal”.

RIP… Glenn Frey.

I will test mine and upload data after I get them. That however will be awhile and likely the deal will no longer be around. It is always a problem when you see a great price on something. If you don't jump it is gone. If you do jump you can not do all your homework and end up with a dud.

There's no risk buying on Amazon. Don't you know that?
