You should have stopped at "sheesh", now you have exposed yourself as an evil prick who supports torture of your fellow citizens. All I can say is sheesh....SMH. Maybe your ideas would work in Japan, but not here in the US. Sometimes I think the Muslims have it right for certain forms of punishment. Steal, and lose a hand. That would make the shiftless think twice before gangs of teens rob stores. It may even create a boom of jobs in the prosthetics field.
Liberals have coddled criminals way too much. The results are evident in every city.
Yup.You should have stopped at "sheesh", now you have exposed yourself as an evil prick who supports torture of your fellow citizens.
Bailiff, whack his pee pee! ?You should have stopped at "sheesh", now you have exposed yourself as an evil prick who supports torture of your fellow citizens.
Trippin...Bailiff, whack his pee pee! ?
Because I don’t think it’s necessary or true for most people in the world.Yes, you need two doses of some of the covid vaccines, just like you need multiple doses of the tetanus vaccine before you are considered fully vaccinated.
How come you don't know that?
And my conclusion was/is since I’m not going to quit driving and at the mileage I do in a year in a car I have a six times greater risk of dying in a car accident than covid (at that time; less now)With billions of people being given the vaccine, any negative side effects can readily be seen. You can then weigh up the risks of the side effects to catching the virus. For example acetaminophen is considered safe enough to be sold over the counter, but there are also side effects.
Who are “they?”The only unanswered questions are in your mind. I will leave it to the experts to decide if the vaccines are safe (and they tell us they are safe)
That’s dubious, imhoSure.
Some people fantasize that borders can be hermetically closed. I am glad they are getting help. Portugal did quite a good job by switching policy on drugs, seeing addiction as an illness instead of a crime.
I did not, actuallyWhy did you remove the "/s", surely you know it is meant to indicate that the comment was meant as sarcasm?
Regulated capitalism is corrupt. A free market especially in today’s media environment is the best method of controlling prices and responsibility in the marketplace. The fly in the ointment is the increasingly large portion of the population with more education than the past and way less ability to use their minds. Shockingly, somewhat by choice. Being a willing participant in being a victim makes one culpable imhoAnd to make it clear, I am not against capitalism, nor am I pro capitalism at all costs. For example while I believe that the roads should be state owned (communism if you will), I also believe cars, bikes and shoes should be made for profit by private companies,
(capitalism if you will) who sadly need to be regulated to behave responsibly.
Accounting. Reconcile that with the pneumonia and other expected deaths that didn’t occur during the same period. Worldwide.have not seen the studies, what I can see is when I look at hospitals, that they are no longer overflowing and don't have refrigerated trucks in their parking area's to deal with the dead bodies.
One surrenders their inalienable rights in proportion to their criminal deviance, and should. You should have stopped at "sheesh", now you have exposed yourself as an evil prick who supports torture of your fellow citizens.
You think you know more than the experts?Because I don’t think it’s necessary or true for most people in the world.
Your conclusion ignores that since you drove a lot, you would likely be a better driver, able to anticipate the mistakes of others. And my conclusion was/is since I’m not going to quit driving and at the mileage I do in a year in a car I have a six times greater risk of dying in a car accident than covid (at that time; less now)
The people who have spend a life time studying the subject.Who are “they?”
It doesn't matter if the vaccine is less or more safe than a flu shot, what matters is that the vaccine is safer than getting covid. What I read and hear from experts is the mRNA vaccines are way less safe than a flu shot. There are actual correlations that can’t yet be considered as probable or not because we don’t have the data.
You are entitled to your opinion on this as well, but considering the war on drugs failed big time, you might want to look at alternatives. That’s dubious, imho
No worries.I did not, actually
Sadly you are mistaken and I really want you to be right as I dislike bureaucracy. At best unregulated would mean that contracts are not enforceable, at worst we would look at a robber baron society.Regulated capitalism is corrupt. I don't know what to tell you, it is unlikely you will accept mainstream expert opinion, while I feel I am unqualified to question those experts.Accounting. Reconcile that with the pneumonia and other expected deaths that didn’t occur during the same period. Worldwide.
The hype doesn’t match the facts.
You think you know more than the experts?
The question is not always that simple, our (in)actions can and do affect others, but I will agree that at some point we have to continue with our lives. The point for me was when any one who wanted the vaccine, had it. As for personal freedom I like to look at things like clothing should be optional, personally I believe the state should not be allowed to tell us what we have to wear. One surrenders their inalienable rights in proportion to their criminal deviance, and should.
John Locke spent a lot of ink on that concept- do whatever you want as long as your actions do not diminish the rights of another.
Yeah, thousands of experts around the world are able to maintain the same lie... /sWe know when the "experts" are lying through their teeth.
People lie for various reasons, the thing about science is not that it is perfect, but that it is self correcting. The reason that I (and I imagine you) don't get a say in it because I have nothing useful to contribute to the expert debate. So I just trust them and the system. Just like I trust all the experts when I step in a lift that takes me to the top of the high rise building they designed and build. Just because buildings have fallen down and lifts have failed, is not a good reason not to step in the lift.(I've seen bigger lies from the anti-vaxxers. But plenty of lies and bad advice from our overlords. They do put the individual's health first.)
Bogus comparison. Elevators were invented by Otis, a private company who would have gone ouy of business if their products failed, and they were sued out of existence. The other is a quasi government bereaucracy which cannot be sued, and nobody is accountable.Yeah, thousands of experts around the world are able to maintain the same lie... /s

How much greater would your chances be of dying in a car accident if you were distracted by heavy painful coughing and brain fog from covid? And my conclusion was/is since I’m not going to quit driving and at the mileage I do in a year in a car I have a six times greater risk of dying in a car accident than covid (at that time; less now)
Please do share with the class what Drew Wiessman had reservations about? I found this but it doesn't indicate what you have accused him of.The guy who invented the Mrna vaccines for COVID is on record saying he has many reservations with it for long term effects.
So when Donald Trump is indicted for a high crime over classified documents and obstruction and is proven guilty, what punishment would you think is appropriate? One surrenders their inalienable rights in proportion to their criminal deviance, and should.
Do you believe that if Donald Trump is charged and convicted of stealing documents that belong to the U.S. government and obstructed the recovery of said documents, should call for chopping off both of his hands? That seems like pretty serious theft especially since many were clearly marked TS/SCI...Sometimes I think the Muslims have it right for certain forms of punishment. Steal, and lose a hand.
