I doubt the war is going to end on some random day like Tuesday at 3pm. It is more likely that the ongoing activity and fighting will gradually slow and eventually reach a point where someone launches a munition once a week or something.

Judging from current events, it is already starting to slow a bit, although it picks up in spurts now and then.
