Eclipse 2024

Why haven't we nuked the moon yet?

Isn't tidal power a thing?

On the other hand, it would be a solution or at least mitigation for "Climate Change". We were told sea levels would rise 3', inundating some coastal communities. But that assumed high tide, which we could eliminate.

"Time and tides", "High tide lifts all boats", some could be entrapped in a harbor.

I don't think I would enjoy living near SF bay; imagine the smell!

Was about 15 minutes before the peak. After this was total clouds. Super dark outside.

It got pretty dark.
I would not have driven hundreds of miles to see it.
Back to work.

Just past peak eclipse. Viewing was excellent with the light haze. Because I am not in the path of totality it only grew dim outside. Was a little surprised that with just a small sliver of sun showing that it was not all that dark. My solar panels kept their voltage up enough to have my AIO's not lose the icon but production is fairly nil at the moment.
