SRNE 12kW IP65 HES and 10kW ASP

Dude! That's a good price. I'm running out of excuses.

Is that shipped?
No, that's before shipping. It would be best to get a DDP airfreight quote for your location.
I'm guessing somewhere around $300 based off what I paid for 2 ASPs, I could be way off, the HESP is heavier and larger.

Oh boy, I gotta get back outside, you guys talking all day about the 12kW SRNE are going to temp me into a purchase...I told myself to WAIT... Hey if @1201 gets a pair of the 12kW and posts about their set up, maybe that will keep me distracted from buying a pair...DSAM...DSAM..DSAM...
Imagine if they were readily available with local North American stock and you could just buy one with a few day shipping. You would be in big trouble then.

Oye. There I was set on the NHX 10k and then the HES 12k comes along with zero export and no megarevo related quirks. How long will it be before the HES 12k becomes easy to buy without having to go to an Alibaba/Express seller I wonder.

I've sent a message to borick asking how much shipping to me is.

It's a close race between this and the growatt. Looking at two units

Srne: 24kw vs 20kw for growatt
Likely about $1000 cheaper for two
Same work modes as growatt but better menu system

Growatt:
Real USA support and warranty
Claims ac coupling, ac retrofit and dc coupling
Supports higher pv input

Well I was chatting with an SRNE rep (Abby) before I purchased my ASPs [ and SRNE stopped selling direct to consumer for small orders, don't worry Borick that I've recommended is supported by SRNE for support / warranty is neeeded ] while she was at a conference in Texas with some others from SRNE and she said they are working to develop a larger US presence/footprint. ... So maybe soon.

Personally I didn't mind ordering direct and eliminating additional costs in the process, they delivered in 10 days anyway.

That's a great chart!
To help further populate, hopefully.
pg 47 of the manual touches on RSD, it looks like it utilizes a signal from the RSD device on the dry contact port.
Pg 56 shows a 5 second overload greater than 125% output, 15KW; I'm speculating it's 24KW for 1 second based max peak power.
Noise is less than 60db (loud).

They need to do better at listing other important specs.

I like the 3 MPPTs for the Growatt and Midnite, I wish my ASPs had 25A MPPTs so I weren't clipping with my NE Solar in 2P.

Thanks! I'll update the chat

I wonder about the solar assistant compatibility too.
If it's anything like the ASP there will be no issues. (Battery is not accurate because I didn't feel like soldering UART leads for the 4th pack after work).

I noticed one thing on that comparison chart that made me laugh. The SRNE has ??? for transfer time while the others were 10ms and such. If it works like mine its 0ms transfer time. It runs the inverter all the freaking time. That's why it eats the battery in hybrid mode like that. Its not only idle consuming x watts its actually make power with it too. The load compared to the grid usage number is always about the same amount as the idle consumption of the batteries different from each other if that makes sense.

Example :

2000 load
1900 grid
100 watts idle draining from the batteries.
