The framers of our constitution meant for the 2nd amendment to assure the general population would have the power to fight and kill in defense of self and country, they did not intend for you to own a phalanx or a surface to air missile.

We have decent laws right now, they should stay the way they are.

As for the armor, there is always some quack job trying to pass ridiculous laws. Idiots on the conservative right trying to turn public schools into churches and idiots on the left who think AR15's fire 50 BMG rounds. The conservative right loves finding the quacks on the left and bringing them to light as if they are a legitimate threat to our liberties.

And for the record, I'm a prepper and used to own half a dozen Colt 6920's and another half dozen 6940's.. and one light weight 6960 for my wife.. that is until I lost them, and their binary triggers, in a boating accident. Seriously, there we were on the boat just enjoying the sunny day when a big wave crashed over the bow..

Oh ya, I bought them all at the same time too as part of our prepping when the short fat idiot in North Korea started throwing ICBM's into space..
and no one showed up at my house.
