Yes it will increase. If you have 4 of these together will that increase its startup load capacity (large amp draw), meaning running 220v shop equipment, 40 amp 220v welder etc or is that still limited to what just one of these can do?

YesSo I can still use grid power as backup and or for battery charging if need be with this inverter as well?
I think if you have no problem with sourcing replacements if they die (and if you're buying 3 or 4 of these you have on-site redundancy anyway, of course if things are up on the wall connected to each other they could also all smoke each other at the same time), there's not a huge risk. Also XW Pros will likely take way more wall space.
Will you be using the grid as backup?I was going to go with 2 schneider xw pro's but these look pretty attractive especially considering how much less expensive they are. I want reliability (will be for my home, pole barn and work shop) and needs to have enough oomph to handle large startup loads. These are looking pretty attractive right now. Considering 3 of them for a spring solar install (located in Michigan).
Had this unit been available I would have likely bought 4 of them instead of the big 18/12 unit. Mostly for the cost differential plus additional PV inputs 3x2 vs 2x4. However now that I have the big boys, the wiring simplified dramatically over the 5 smaller units I used to have, so no regrets. I'd bet a lot of this is going to get resolved with firmware updates across the board. I'd also bet the next round of hardware will be better as well. Technology is fun to watch."Visually" I see less dimming running 2-6000xp than I do with the 18Kpv in off grid mode.
So this is odd of you to say. I purchased on Nov. 8th and it was shipped on Nov. 10th. That was excellent service. I guess I was super lucky.Since you purchased through us, use "Current Connected".
Do both passwords work for all units regardless of purchase place??"Current Connected"
I would assume so.Do both passwords work for all units regardless of purchase place??
The code just assigns the user acount to the sellers installer account so they can assist with managing. So this is odd of you to say. I purchased on Nov. 8th and it was shipped on Nov. 10th. That was excellent service. I guess I was super lucky.
I looked far and wide for what password to use for the dongle and Signature! of some variation worked. Did I receive the unit from Signature? Why did I not have to put in

Oh no hah. Either way. A very nice guy from EG4 and on this forum named EG4_Jarrett helped more than I would have expected or imagined. I was astounded by his prompt responses, knowledge, and enthusiasm. The code just assigns the user acount to the sellers installer account so they can assist with managing.
Good morning! If you'd like to DM me your email address, I can look into getting that email resolved asap!Yeah the XW Pro's need like 8' of space at least lol (I will have a dedicated solar shed, so no big deal either way). I emailed signature solar asking them a few questions about these, so waiting to hear back to decide
You DM'd me the other day asking for my email and I replied with it, still waiting to hear back from my email, thank you though!Good morning! If you'd like to DM me your email address, I can look into getting that email resolved asap!
No I haven't completely deciphered that part of the code yet. I know that mine shows the date/time, Firmware Number and that SRA code.Has anyone discovered what the code after SRA indicates on the top line of the LCD screen? I can't find any description of that in the manual, other than the pic showing SRA:40 for the "Normal/Running Status". Mine used to show the SRA:40 there but now it shows SRA:CO, but it's all running just fine. I have no idea what it means...
Always fun figuring out new stuff. I wish the manual were a little bit more comprehensive in some areas. No I haven't completely deciphered that part of the code yet. I know that mine shows the date/time, Firmware Number and that SRA code.
How many batteries?Always fun figuring out new stuff. I wish the manual were a little bit more comprehensive in some areas.
Mine showed the SRA:40 before. I know I was fine tuning some settings before the sun came up. Now that the sun came up and I have some solar coming in I notice it is reading SRA:CO but I'm not sure if that's because of the settings I tweaked or the fact that it has some solar coming in. I'm sure we'll all figure it out eventually.
BTW - I have the clothes dryer connected to my load center, which draws like around 5800 watts. With a few other loads turned on, if I turn on the dryer it does push it beyond the inverter limits and it does switch fairly quickly to pass thru mode and back again when the load drops down for a bit. However, only one time when I turned on the dryer it actually tripped the internal 200 amp battery breaker on the 6000xp. I'm guessing it was the inrush current from the dryer. Even after turning the breaker back on the inverter still wouldn't come back on, even turning the EPS switch off and on again. I ended up having to turn off all my batteries and then power everything back on and it's been fine again and hasn't happened again since. Just to be safe I turned down the max discharge amps in the inverter settings, but that also puts my max inverter output below the 6000 watts - at least at night when it's only getting battery power. Any thoughts?
How many batteries? - 3 x 100ah LL V2'sHow many batteries?
Are the battery cables sized for 200 amps?
How long are the battery cables?
Does your dryer have an eco mode setting?
Does your dryer has a low heat and auto dry setting?
